Chocolate Chip Cookie Shots
A fun twist to an old classic
Ingredients
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Butter Can substitute margerine
- 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
- 3/4 Cup White Sugar
- 2 1/2 Cups Flour 1/4 cup extra
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- 2 Cups Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Tsp Salt I omit salt for health reason but it does bring out the flavor
Instructions
-
Mix Butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and eggs together
-
Add flour, and baking soda mix until it forms a soft ball. (You don’t want the dough to sticky or it will be difficult to work with. If it is to soft add the other 1/4 cup of flour
-
Divide dough into approximately 1 inch balls
-
Using a cookie shot glass mold place dough in the cups and using the depressor form the shot glasses
-
Bake in oven for 7 to 10 minutes. You don’t want to over cook or they will be too hard. Light golden brown
-
When you take them out of oven. Remove the form and let cool. Remove cookie shot when it has cooled slightly
-
Once cookies are completely cool. You can serve as is or if you want to step it up a notch you can melt chocolate and paint the inside of the shot glass. This adds a little more chocolate flavor and keeps the cookie from melting to fast from your liquid of choice
