Chicken Parmesan Skinny style

Delicious Parmesan without all the calories

Chicken Prep

  • 2 Chicken breast Filet into thin and smaller peices
  • Olive Oil
  • Granulated garlic power


  • 1-2 Cup Sauce
  • 1 Lb Mozzarella Shredded
  • 1/4 Cip Parmesan cheese Grated


  1. Season chicken with garlic salt and pepper. Sauté chicken browning on both side 5-7 minutes. 

  2. In a 9x13” pan cover bottom of dish with sauce. Lay the sautéd chicken on the sauce. Cover chicken with mozzarella then cover with sauce,  sprinkle Parmesan on top. 

  3. Bake on 375 degree Fahrenheit for approx 20-30 minutes. Chicken was partially cooked when sautéing, so when the chicke. Is bubbling consistently remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes.

Recipe Notes

When I say skinny I mean that the calorie count is much less without the breadcrumbs. This is a great dish for those on an Low Carb style diet. You can certainly make it less calories by using no fat mozzarella. I have done this dish many times with the no fat, and it is delicious, but we are on a low salt diner and fresh mozzarella has next to nothing in salt. I also don’t use the bread crumbs for 2 reasons. First it cuts the calories but second bread crumbs also have a tremendous amount of salt per serving. You will be surprised at how little you will miss the bread crumbs. And like I always say Make sure you enjoy the Journey
