Ingredients

  • 3 Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 1 1/4 cup Barbecue sauce your choice I like Sweet Baby Rays
  • 1/2 medium Onion Chopped
  • 1 TBLSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 TBLSP Brown Sugar

Instructions

First Step

  1. You will need a crock pot to cook this meal.  Chop the Onion, and add to the crock pot. Mix in the Barbecue Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, and Brown Sugar.  Add the Chicken to the sauce and cover.  That's it, you will need to let it cook 3 to 4 hours on High heat or 6 to 7 hours on low heat.

Second Step

  1. When the chicken is tender, ( when you stick a fork in the chicken it will break apart very easily) take the pieces out and shred, add the chicken back into the crock pot with the sauce and mix thoroughly.

Third and final step

  1. The chicken is ready, you can serve immediately or refrigerate for a day or two.

I serve it with coleslaw, either on the side or on the sandwich as you can see in the feature picture.
